As per sources, Crores & crores money has been paid by HUDA for the maintenance of sectors for the last 15-20 years. Then again, the MCG is charging house tax from inhabitants of HUDA sectors, since origin, yet is not utilizing the same for maintenance of HUDA sectors. Comparatively, HUDA is being loaded with maintenance costs of the sectors.
According to sources, the old sectors like sector 1 to sector 57 be given over to MCG at the soonest for the maintenance purposes, so that HUDA can concentrate on the new sectors development. Anita Yadav recommended that for the new sectors, an moderate policy be encircled by the government for requiring of maintenance charges.
As per news, for the new sectors, another strategy(new policy) may be encircled to collect maintenance charges of Rs 200 to Rs 2,000 as indicated by the span of the plot/building, with a yearly increment of 10% for giving services to the residents. Individuals are paying the charges yet somehow are not able to get the essential services. This new policy will help utilizing the money in sector improvement & public utility services.
Hey Guys, Have you heard about the new maintenance charge policy by HUDA? As per the news, from sector 58 to sector 115 (Gurgaon), the maintenance charges be paid to HUDA along with property tax to Municipal Corporation Gurgaon (MCG). Kindly discuss.
Hi Manider, As per the latest news, administrator of HUDA, Anita Yadav has looked for another effective policy for collecting the maintenance charges from the new sectors 58 to sector 115 and the giving over of upkeep services of every single old sector from 1 to 57 to the MCG be sped up.
@ Manider, According to sources, in a letter to the Chandigarh honorable chief administrator, the administrator of HUDA has looked for that maintenance charges for sectors 58 to 115 be paid to HUDA, along with property tax to the MCG, like how people in colonized territories need to pay maintenance to the developer.
Hi Guys, It is also heard that, honorable administrator Anita Yadav, in her letter sent to chief administrator Brijendra Singh, declared that after the initial assignment of residential sectors by HUDA, an enormous amount/expenses was brought about for maintenance of public utilities like roads, sanitation, water supply as well as sewerage services.
..Contd.. supply water to new sectors. Otherwise, it would take four years to build a pipeline from Chandu Budhera water plant to new sectors crossing NH-8. The court pulled up HUDA officials for suggesting that if one court decision was not in their favor, the residents would have to live without water for four years. The court said HUDA must come up with a credible solution by February 25.
When asked, HUDA administrator Anita Yadav said, "We are trying to talk to the residents of the hamlet near Fazilpur and trying to work out an amicable solution. Superintendent engineers are working on a strategy and should be out with a workable solution soon."
HC seeks water solution for new sectors in Gurgaon by February 25 Praveen Jose, TNN | Feb 15, 2015, 04.41AM IST
inShare GURGAON: The Haryana Urban Development Authority's alternate plan for water supply to new sectors (from 68 to 80) has hit another roadblock with the Punjab and Haryana high court rejecting its proposal.
The HC has now asked HUDA to come up with a new plan by February 25. Earlier, the court had asked HUDA not to issue occupation certificate to builders till it could ensure water supply for all residents.
On February 10, HUDA officials submitted a plea before the HC highlighting major hurdles in proving water supply to new sectors. According to a senior official, most crucial roadblock in providing clean water through pipeline to new sectors is about 350 meters of land along the Southern Peripheral Road (SPR) which is stuck in litigation. HUDA informed the court that if ruling in the SPR litigation was in its favor, a pipeline could be laid to ...Contd..
As per my knowledge, there already exists a water supply line from the Sector 51 boosting station to Sohna Road. If the 350-square-metre land on the Southern Peripheral Road (SPR) stuck in litigation is cleared in our favour, a temporary line can be laid to supply water to sectors 68-80. Till such time that all other hurdles are addressed, a permanent line cannot be made. This is the only workable solution.
In my point of view, the second big hurdle is the pending acquisition of a 300 sq m private land in Dhankot village near the Chandu Budhera plant. HUDA officials said they are in discussions to purchase the land as per circle rates at the government level and that will be finalized within a week.
@ Mr Naveen, According to me, apart from Dhankot village problem , another obstacle is Padmini factory on the proposed Northern Peripheral Road (NPR) route, which is in the way of the water supply line. Following a court order, the factory will shift to an alternate site by December 31. But we need only four metres of their land to lay the pipeline for which we have already sent a request.
@ Naveen , As per different sources, HUDA executive engineer Subhash Piplani said while these hurdles needed to be cleared, a pipeline also has to be laid under the railway crossing for which the authority has applied for permission. There is another problem, too. That of land along the proposed Central Peripheral Road (CPR) that connects SPR and NPR which is yet to be acquired. We need at least 3,200 sq m of land here to lay water lines to connect the nearby sectors. A line also has to pass under NH8 for which permission has been sought from the National Highways Authority of India.
As per HUDA authority , it may take about two years to get rid of all the roadblocks but HUDA has prepared an alternate plan to provide temporary relief to residents in the area and will submit that before the high court on February 10. As per HUDA official, a few buildings along the SPR were also coming in the way of laying pipelines. "We are awaiting a final decision in the matter from the high court and the next hearing is scheduled for February 12.
Hi Naveen, As per my knowledge, Urban development authority HUDA has drafted a new plan to supply potable water to 13 new sectors where the Punjab and Haryana high court has kept occupation certificates of flats on hold till the requisite infrastructure is put in place.
The high court had, on January 9, asked the government and builders to find a permanent solution and asked for a blueprint of drinking water supply to the 13 sectors (68-80), where 124 new housing and commercial licences have been issued. The orders were passed during the hearing of a petition filed by Mukesh Sharma, a resident of Silokhra in Gurgaon, who had accused builders of illegal extraction of groundwater.
@ Mr Naveen, As per HUDA Official , there were six hurdles in the way of extending the water supply network to the new sectors. These include hindrances to laying new lines connecting the water treatment plant at Chandu Budhera to the sectors as well as pending land acquisition and litigations.
