The fund corpus of this T-Hub is said to be around Rs.300 crore by 2017 and would double in three years. And not only that, it has many other advantages as well like in terms of employment. It is expected to generate annual employment of 3,000 by 2017 and 10,000 by 2020.
And all of this is happening along the Western part of Hyderabad only. Where there is already a good IT growth, and I think now this will also affect the real estate sector in that part of the city as well, and the prices in here may increase a lot in the future.
I agree, Hyderabad is anyway attracting the interest of many big companies like Amazon and Google, who want to start their facilities in here, and now, because of this incubation hub. there will be a lot of other investments in the city as well.
I have heard that by the year of 2020, the government is planning to have as many as 1,00 start ups in this facility. That is a very good things, as many start ups will be interested in investing in here and starting their facilities.
In the second phase, that will commence from 2017 onwards, the centre will have its own campus over 300,000 square feet. To be built at an estimated cost of Rs.200 crore, it will have various stakeholders like start-ups, investors and service providers.
The proposed hub will ensure infrastructure, support services and funds for the startups. The phase I coming up at IIIT at a cost of Rs.35 crore will be spread over 60,000 square feet and can accommodate 400 start-ups by 2017. This building will be used for three years.
The facility will be spread over 80,000 square feet and can accommodate as many as 400 start-ups. The first phase will be ready by year-end or January-February next year and it is claimed that this itself will be India's biggest incubation hub.
This incubation hub is known as the T hub, will be coming up in the IIIT campus that is located in Gachibowli. The three organisations that are involved in the, (IIIT, Nalsar and ISB) would provide the help. ISB will provide business mentoring, IIIT will be providing technology mentoring while NALSAR would help in intellectual property and related areas.
There is no definite information about the starting of this hub, as it is a very huge project but the launching of this incubation hub will start by the middle of this year, around June I think. The work on this has already started anyway.
This incubation hub is an initiative by the Government of Telangana, and The Telangana government is developing the hub in collaboration with International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad, Indian School of Business (ISB) and NALSAR University of Law in Hyderabad
Yes, it is true. It is one of the many developmentS that are happening in Hyderabad. There is new incubation hub that is coming up in Hyderabad, and it is said to be the biggest incubation hub in the country.
