Nearest schools are Kendriya vidyalaya which is one of the best schools here, other than that there is the Teresian school , Marimallappas School, Navkis EEducation Centre, St. Arnolds' school, JSS Public School and several more which offer great education.

Despite being a tad bit away from the city, Madapura is well conneted. It has decent tarred roads and has the facility of water which is rarealy ever a problem even in the summers. It is also close to city bus stop and sub urban bus stop which are about 12 to 14 kms away and connects to mysore and other parts of the state.

Madapura is not too far behind from a couple of hospitals. iT has JSS Hospital, Columbia Asia, K R Hospital, Shanta veri Gopala gowda hospital, Apollo hospital, Al Ansaar hospital which are all super specialty ones and offer treatments all day long.

Madapura is located 14 kilo metres from the Mysore city centre.The nearest localities are Alanahalli vilage, Sardar vallabhai Patel nagara, KC Layout , Lalitadri pura among a couple others. It is a bit on the out skirts, however, and is a bit of a detached place.
