Hey, Latest in the news is that the Public Works Department has already been allotted a whoping total of Rs. 1,441 Cr. for the whole project, which includes infrastructure project development and includes building highways, bridges, roads and other buildings.
That is not all, the first bridge in the plan of action will be commisiioned within january third week and work will start for that bridge, because if this all has to be completed within the deadline then the work has to happen as soon as possible.
Really, sounds like our little Kochi just got bigger. But I am not pretty sure these people can finish their work within the deadline they have mentioned because building so many flyovers is really going to take a lot of time and manpower.
Hello, They are not only building bridges in the area. The bridges proposed to be completed during the period include road bridges, flyovers and railway over-bridges as well. Well, with all this in the news I am pretty sure this is gonna provide a boost to the real estate business in Kochi.
Yeah, I read about it in the newspaper too. A total of 100 bridges are being built in the state and out of those hundred bridges are being built by the Public Works Department alone. I don't know how they have planned this but this is going to make Kochi one of the major players in the real estate market. If we have proper roads and bridges in the areas the connectivity of the state will be better and that will interest a lot of investors from abroad in the city.
If sources are to be believed then yes even National highways authority is building eight bridges in the region. Kerala road fund board has also contributed towards the development of infrastructure in the state and they are also building two of those bridges.
It is true they are planning to build bridges all around the state and you know what the biggest information is they will build all these bridges within an year. Yes, PWD minister said that this will be done within 400 days.
Yes, a plan of action has been prepared and very soon we might see bridges flying all over the Kochi area. I really do not know much about the project but it was in the news a few days back, an article I read.
