Now, according to the estimates, it is very likely that the traffic would double every five or six years. The existing condition is that during the peak hours, the number of vehicles on the road is 2200, with one car passing each direction every eight seconds. So, this four lane path will definitely reduce the traffic here.

Latest Answer: The latest price trend of the seaport-aiport road is from the second quarter of 2013. I don't have the info for 2014. But, when i compare it with the market price that was in 2012, i see a huge difference. If in 2012, the avg price for a sq. feet of land was rs. 3090, the price in 2013, quarter 3 was rs. 3968. Clearly a 28% increase!! I see the infrastructure development as key to this phenomenon.
