Latest Answer: oh, this is a good initiative in regard to providing more comfort to the users. but, i am not sure how much this will work. There were instances where some other modern bus shelters were established in the city. But now these are in a neglected condition. Moreover, there are also other complaints that some of these hi-tech bus waiting shelters are set in improper locations where there are no bus stops. This is the case in the High Court area. They are planning to set up a shelter there, but there is actually no bus stop there.

I think that the Thevara junction to UP bridge road should be widened to ease traffic. A parallel road from Kasturba Nagar to Thevara Kundannoor should also be constructed. Each beneficiary had paid a subsidised rate of 2,113, for a biogas plant that cost Rs. 6,500 under the Suchitwa Mission. But later, this amount was increased to 10,500 requiring more contribution of funds from ech beneficiary. because of this, many people were withdrawing from the account and the municipal council was left with the responsibility of paying these people their deposits back. I think people's attitude need to change with regard to waste disposal and only then can these sort of projects create an impact. Residents from other localities passing throught this area are also known to dumb waste in canals and water bodies. The municipality now has plans of cleaning the dumbyard and setting up a plastic shredder in the vicinity. There are also plans of ensuring litter free zones in the municipality and 1.65 crore has been sanctioned for the project.

Latest Answer: Arey don’t worry man! This blockage is not at all for us. Its just for the bigger vehicles, you know the double decker trucks that transport shipment along this route t night. Any big vehicles that are bound to the airport will have to turn left from the Paravoor junction and then turn right towards Aluva. Also, to reach this Aluva Paravoor junction, vehicles will have to pass through Pathalam jn, Mupathadam jn, Kadungallur west and Kadangallur east, and then turn towards the UC college jn. So basically vehicles headed to Thrissur and Aluva will have to move through the flyover underpass at Apollo Gate and then make a right turn into Edayar road at the container freight junction.
