I think that there has been a significance of SEZ for the IT and related industries. Actually, the SEZ which has to make developments to most industries, there has been a very large scale development only in the IT and ITeS industry. It gets almost 56.64% of the SEZ's project. Only 9.6% of SEZ cater to the multi-product manufacturing sector, etc.

The unit has requested for further extension so as to implement the project. The unit has invested Rs. 564 crores on the project and employed 280 people.
From the information that I have got, I think that the SEZ project are working on projects that includes Smart City Kochi Infrastructure, Saraf Agencies, Golden Tower Infratech and Torrent Pharmaceuticals. Now, what has happened is that there has been a delay of the projects work beyond the December.
Hi Ayesha, I am David, actually, you know, Cochin SEZ is a foreign territory in India. With the Union Budget that will come on 28th February, the SEZ developers and all are asking more time to implement their approved projects.
