Oh, the news that it takes a lot of years is really true. The minister has also spoen about it. He has said that several housing societies have made their members wait for over 10.12 years without allotting any land.
The government has still not decided on What the interest should be which must payable by societies, how much time do societies need to develop a layout and other details will be worked out and presented in the upcoming sessions of the legislature.
The existing law has a lot of limitatrion on how much land the ssocieties can allot and distribute. I mean , the present one is not flexible. So the new bill if passed wil allow these societies to take over land and develop them as per their plan and then allot it to their members.
SO this agency will be in charge of co-operative societies. It will be responsible for the entire process, right from issuing license to housing co-operative societies to establishing them and they will look into land purchase, site allotment and layout development.
The minister has also said that the government is looking to open a new department or an agency for this where everything related to housing co operative societies will be looked after by that particular department by regulating nad watching their every move.
Yes. you know there are a lot of problems faced by the members and there also has been cases there members do not get any thing as promisd by the houses. Some cases even go on for 3 to 4 years. So now they will have to pay interest for whatever money the member pays it.
Actually, the supposed amendment is such that the housing societies have to provide their clients with lands within a year. Failure to do so would mean theat they will have to cough up their own money.
Whoa. This is some really good news. You know this could also changet the way these societies work. Now you can actually see them slugging off to do their work as opposesd to being a very lazy worker. A crowd pleaser, this law.
A great move, this. So the state co-operation minister H S Mahadeva Prasad has said thet the government has pin pointed several areas that needs amendments and has said that these societies will have to pay interests to their clients if they fail to provide them the property in time.
Hello, the government seems to have finally woken up to the plight of so many plots and other property seekers and have decided to work on mitigating those problems as they are planning to analyse the law and change them.
