Q: I heard that Hyderabad has received fresh funds for new projects for water and road development. What is this? How much is the funding that has been made available?

You know the Finance MInister of Telangana was also very sure about one other big project. He has said that the Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited will start off with its services within the July of 2017 which is again a great sign for the city.

I think these projects will improve the fate of real estate in the Hyderabad city. I mean these projects will make Hyderabad a success and the standaed of living too will improve for the better. It would be an accomplishment for the KCR government.

Other allocations include the government sanctioning around Rs 271 crore to buy 4,433 vehicles with modern technology for the Hyderabad and Cyberabad police to make sure that they can keep the city safe and the response timing thing. Looks like Telangana is aiming high. Will it reach it? WE have to wait and watch.

The government seems pretty serious about this. About 1,500 motorcycles have been provided to Cyberabad police to respond within 10 minutes of receiving a complaint or call. If this really happens and the police really make it then the city would get a lot safer.

HEre's some other allocations from the budget. Apart from cleaning the Hussainsagar lake, the government has earmarked about Rs 1,600 crore for planned strategic road and skyline development which is definitely a need if you are to make the city a world class one.

Whoa! You know the ministers and the board are really optimistic that the Water from the Krishna Phase-III project will reach the city this summer. They do this always, don't they? Get too excited about things and in the end they don't even do them properly. Hope it wont get to that now.

You know what was said about these allocations? These allocations have been made in order to make Hyderabad a world-class metropolis and a global city. Liberal assistance is being given to the Water Board to complete Krishna Phase-III and Godavari Phase-I.

Right now the projectss the water board will work on will be towards the completion of the the Krishna Phase-III project and the Godavari Phase-I project to overcome drinking water problem under the GHMC limits especialyy now that it is the summer.

So the water board especially has been allotted over Rs. 1000 crores to complete various drinking and other water projects in the city area of Hyderabad. We will see how they spend this money. Let's hope that they don't just waste it.

Yes. Several new infrastructure projects have been encouraged in the maiden budget session of the state of Telangana presided over by its Chief Minister K CHandra Shekara Rao. He has allocated some funds for various developmental works.
