New developments going on for the construction of Sewage plant in Indore
Q: Hi, I am a resident of Indore and I recently came to know that there has been some developments that may affect the housing in Indore, specially for the construction of the Sewage plant here. What is it actually?
Oh yeah..i also came to know about this. Along with this, developer has to deposit 15% of total project as shelter fund and development fee. I think, this is sure to create some strictness in enforcing the law and eradicating housing problems.
You know, the administration approved Silver Park Colony in Panod village panchayat under the new rule and mortgaged 25% of plots to ensure that its sets up a treatment plant. Of the total 389 plots, district administration has mortgaged 95 plots.
As per new guidelines approval for a colony or a township would be given within 60 days, provided there is a provision in the plan for construction of sewage treatment plant.
I think that the rule for approving new colonies or townships have been amended keeping in mind hygiene and environment. You know, now, the rules are not so mandatory. And most of the townships and residential settlements do not have a proper sewage system. This would ensure proper sewage treatment, in my opinion.
Sure, The thing is that the district administration has made it mandatory for an upcoming residential colony or a township on more than two hectares of land, to install a sewage treatment plant. There will strict measures for ensuring this, such as mortgaging 25% of plots or flats in the upcoming colonies.Â
Oh, yeah..the news is that the administrative body of Indore, that is IMC is planning to mortgage 25% houses in the new colonies for the sewage plant. One thing to note is that this is only for the new colonies.
