Q: Hi,
This seems to be a nice forum to ask questions. I wanted to know more about the Sanghvi Hills area patch....I was told that there is some problem with OC over there?
Further, given that the area seems a bit isolated, is it safe?

I know its a reasonable choice for easy connectivity, economical cost of living, middle class society members, good community bonding. I almost bought a flat there. Best of all, the price here is almost 30-40 percent less than compared to buildings 4 blocks ahead of it (Parkwoods, Cosmos Jewels etc). I did hear the OC issue, but it is a matter of time before the clearing from court is in. Most of the forest land issue is going to be resolved in the favour of the residents. I recommend you meet the society secretary to get an honest opinion because the builder will only be telling the good side.

As per civic body's development plan, these plots had been differentiate as residential plots for land use in the civic body's development plan, the state declares these areas as forest and High Court Upheld the state's view making the flats built on these lands illegal. Permissions for ongoing projects were withdrawn and the BMC issued stopwork notices. So, i don't think that a disputed land will get an Occupancy Certificate.

Hey Manish,
My suggestion to you that consult a good legal expert and ask for the further action. Anf you want to be sure about the locality then visit the nearby Municipal Corporation under which this locality falls. Check whether the above mentioned issue is correct or not. If correct then ask how one can get rid of them.
