Top 5 markets for rental yield are Mira Road due to connectivity, affordability and huge land parcel. Secondly, Powai due to IT Hub, educational hub and upscale locality. In 3rd position, Andheri East due to industrial hub and strategic location. In fourth position Goregaon East because of connectivity, affordability compared to Bandra and Andheri and last is the Malad West due to its upscale locality and strategic location.

Hi all,
Areas beyond Thane and Central Suburbs comprises about 70 per cent of new units supply in MMR Region. Mira Road was the showstopper in 3 aspects, which includes rental demand, resale availability and rental yield.
As per CommonFloors proprietary data, properties up for rent in Vashi, Kandivali West, Panvel, Ghodbunder Road and Andheri West on an average take just 18-25 days to go out.

It is also heard that Maharashtra Govt. may soon remove toll plazas on many roads. It may exempt
cars and light motor vehicles from toll and instead levy additional charges on heavy vehicles.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has said that the proposed Navi Mumbai International Airport will be operational by 2019 as all the necessary approvals are in place and they are waiting for some more land acquisition.

Mumbai Metro rail Corporation has announced in - situ rehabilitation for residents of 26 building in South Mumbai for Metro Ph-3.

Top localities in MMR with highest units supply are Ghodbunder Road ranked first with overall 994 units , Kandivali East - overall 630 units, Mulund West - overall 368 units, Kalyan West - overall 864 units and Dombivali East- overall 369 units.

No, not at all. Actually, i am planning to invest in MMR so, i have to collect all the information. I follow CNBC Property News as well.

Rental availability in top localities of MMR :- Malad West - overall 367 units, Kandivali East - overall 321 units, Goregaon East - 523 units, Powai - overall 554 units and Kharghar - overall 266 units.

Recently, Maharashtra CM gave a go ahead for demolition of political parties' office and some govt. office in Colaba for Metro Ph-2 construction.
