Hi Neeraj,

According to previous news, HUDA had a meeting with DLF in this year January, concerning the work status of Golf Course Road. That time DLF officials said that patch work, essential lighting as well as safety signage work will be taken care of in a sort period. But till march no progress was seen.

As per my knowledge, a joint meeting was conducted with Vikas Gupta, Commissioner of MCG & investigations was made . So in this investigation, they found patch work from NH-8 to Sikanderpur to Genpact chowk & even further was not done by DLF . So that patch work and required repair work will be taken care by HUDA.

Hi Neeraj,
According to sources, for this repair work , nearly 49Lac has been estimated for this. This amount will be recovers from DLF. DLF officials claimed that they have followed all directions from HUDA for this road work & although it is a continues process of working so it might take some long time. From day one when this project started , it was in very bad condition . And DLF worked hard & made it what it is today.

@ Mr Neeraj,

DLF said they will install many temporary light devices in this Golf Course Road stretch. DLF is claiming that within 7 to 10 days they will complete important road repair work . They said that so far up to Arjun Marg the construction work has completed. As repairing road work is a long time process , so as it will advance ahead , patch work will simultaneously achieved.

Hi Guys,
I came to know from current news, that after the campaign by Times of India regarding Golf Course Road pathetic condition, now Hariyana Urban Development Authority has made a 4 member team to survey condition of Golf Course Road. This team will acknowledge their report & suggest steps or determine ideas to make the Gold Course Road motor-able.

Hi Neeraj,

Anita Yadav, HUDA administrator said that HUDA will definitely take major steps for road repairs & patch work. DLF was unable to perform this work , although many reminders were send to DLF. HUDA will recover amount from DLF. As per sources, till March reminders were send to DLF , reminding for doing that patch work & repairing road , making the road motorable.

As per sources, HUDA authority claimed that they planned 10 times more number of trees around the sewage treatment plant. But because of this acquisition , authority declared that they will plant even more number of trees on both road side , once this road expansion project completed. So that Golf Course road will become greenery again.

According to Mr Vivek Kamboj, Hariyali Welfare Society founder, filed a case in year 2013 in NGT , claiming that HUDA had to take compensatory plantation . But HUDA had not done proper compensatory plantation work. Many trees were uprooted by this road expansion work but compensatory plantation has not done yet.

Hi Guys,
Environmentalist are claiming that idea of green belt in golf course road is misleading. Still it is a fully legally approved plan by Gurgaon Manesar Urban complex plan 2031. May be in future again they will uproot these plants for any other infrastructure work.

According to sources, horticultural division of HUDA had informed the range forest department that approx 11000 various variety of plants were planted in Sector 9A, Sector 90, STP plant area, Sector 91 & 92 as well as Sector 31 & 53. As memory serves in year 2012 February, HUDA granted transplant of 236 trees . Those uprooted trees were transplanted in green belt area of different sector on the basis of space availability.

Hi Guys,
As per government instruction, more that 10times of uprooted trees should be planted , so that nearly some of them grow to become tall as the previous trees , before road expansion work completed. HUDA should not plant ornamental trees , should plant those trees who can provide shadows. It is unfair to plant champa trees as compensatory plantation by uprooting tall trees in Golf Course Road.

Hi Neel,

As per DLF official, they are planning to plant 5000 trees in this year mansoon. So that Golf Course road will be a greenest stretch Gurgaon. DLF has already made history by transplanting approx 250 mature trees in phase V. This is claimed to be the largest plant trans plantation work in India. As per forest survey of India in year 2008, it is believed that DLF and Country Club are the main green lung in total Gurgaon.

Hi Neel,
As per current news, 3000 trees has been uprooted for the golf course road expansion work . But Hariyana Urban Development Authority claimed that only 1055 plants & trees uprooted in this process. Anyway , as per environmentalist Golf Course Extension has lost in greenery. 16 lane road work completed by DLF & HUDA, along with 2nd phase rapid metro made a huge change in Gurgaon infrastructure.

Hi Guys,

While doing this renovation work, trees from Sikanderpur to Golf course Extension were removed. As a matter of fact, last year NGT allowed HUDA to expand the road for 8.3 km long. But HUDA had to plant 10 times more number of trees as it is expected that huge trees would be removed in this expansion process. That means HUDA had to plant nearly 11000 trees.
