I read this news on different sites such as http://www.thehindu.com/todays-paper/muda-plans-to-develop-new-layout-in-nanjangud/article7388540.ece and http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/mysuru/Mudas-satellite-town-to-be-a-reality-in-18-months/articleshow/48002641.cms I believe this will help you out.
When MUDA going to sign the MOU and what are the sizes of plots they are going to offer? How much they are going to take to develop the satellite town?
The layout will be developed in 18 months. There will be a total of 6166 sites out of which 10% will be reserved for the poor. The sites will be of sizes 50x80, 40x60, 30x40 and 20x30 sqft.
Muda will sign a MoU with farmers to partner in the project and instead of cash compensation they will allot 50% of the sites to them.
The satellite town will have facilities like police station, school, post office and others. The satellite town is coming up in Ballahalli near RT Nagar about 3km from the Ring Road. The state cabinet has given green signal to develop 6,166 sites on 485 acres.
