In Bangalore, apartments falling in the price bracket of Rs 35-80 lakh sell off like hot cake but apartments falling in the price bracket of Rs 1 crore and above take time to sell off in the market. Now-a-days, ticket sizes for most projects range from Rs 75 lakh to Rs 1 crore in the city for which the inventories are pilling up.
According to sources, Bangalore's residential unit inventory overhang now stands at 32 months. There were more than 84,000 unsold housing units by the end of the second quarter of this year.
I heard that there is good and stable demand observed in areas like Sarjapur Road, Bellary Road, Kanakpura Road and Varthur (in Whitefield). Then why so much of unsold inventory in Bangalore.
