Q: Could anybody let me know about the Squarefeet Group reputation, as I wanted to buy a Flat at Ghodbunder Road of Square Group property, so i wanted to ask is they stick to their possession time or not....

Yes, Ace Square by Squarefeet Group offers 1/2BHK flats. 1BHK in 642 sq-ft and 2bhk from 929-990 sq-ft. A 1BHK will cost you around Rs. 45 lacs onward whereas a 2BHK 65-69.5 lacs onward. All major banks and financial institutions have approved this project.

As far as builder's reputation is concerned, there is no negative comment about them and their projects till date. But their are certain points which you have to keep in mind while dealing with any builder.

If you are planning to buy a property under construction, do not rely on the brochure. A lot depends on the builders ability and resources.

Before you finalize a project, you can do a quick Internet search by keying in the company name since customer forums, blogs, news reports, property sites, etc, typically have a lot of information. It is better to go in for field research.

It is safer to buy from an experienced builder with a good delivery record since he is likely to have a more professional approach, with systems and processes up and running. Apart from that, you can check his track record and find out how well the past projects have been executed.

A reputed builder will be a member of an industry association, such as the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI), or the Builders Association of India (BAI). These are self-regulatory bodies that have strict rules for builders and any discrepancy may lead to the company being blacklisted by the association.
