As per news, the chief minister declared that Vijayawada has very friendly atmosphere for the growth of IT business. The govt is also doing its very best to help in every way. As per sources, IT companies should go to next level cities and Visakhapatnam is going to be the next biggest IT hub. Government is planning everything within its power to support. Govt has planned to make the city as an alternative hub for IT industry.

I came to know from news that, the American government is interested to contribute its resources to help building Vizag is a brilliant move for Vizag. It also means that they see tremendous potential in this city. Vizag is much suitable for IT employees. That does not mean Guntur has not the possibilities.

According to sources, Guntur has been in the in off stage lately, following the decision by the Andhra Pradesh government declaring Vijayawada as the new capital of the State. The govt is in favor of developing the new capital in Guntur due to the presence of large parcels of govt land in and around the city. Besides, its proximity to Vijayawada and the proposed Ring Road connecting Vijayawada to Guntur having addted another favor.

As per my knowledge, Andhra Pradesh government has proposed a land pooling model for building its state capital with foreign expertise as well as promised to share the benefits of developed infrastructure with landowners. Land-pooling model, being tested for the first time on such large scale, was primarily aimed at benefiting people who were willing to part with their land for public purposes.
As per news, many infrastrucutre works such as telecom, transport,petroleum, electricity & drinking water are proposed in Guntur. North of Guntur City will be developed under Capital Region Development Authority. The government has also decided to waive about Rs 200 crore in farm loans availed by some 22000 farmers in the proposed capital region.
