Yes, Realty experts believe that the year 2016 will begin on a positive note for the sector and may witness a pickup in sales with an improvement in the number of unsold inventories. The beginning of the year is the time when people make fresh starts and with this hope, various developers are offering property at discounted rates.

Hi Ashish,
The best approach is to buy a home when you can afford it. Don't attempt to time mortgage rates and home values. They are almost impossible to predict. If you find the home you want and you can afford to, buy it.

I think Aveek is right. Don't try to time the market. The number one factor is your ability to afford a home without getting in over your head. That said, if you are looking for home, interest rates are near historic lows so now appears to be a better time than most for purchasing a home.

I agree with Aveek. It wouldn't be wise to base your decision on future predictions and expectations. There is no hard and fast rule that any of these predictions will come true. The real estate market has always fluctuated constantly and is filled with highs and lows. Base your buying decision on your budget and financial stability.
