What about connecting metro stations to Bommasandra? How many metro stations they are planning to construct?
Sunil reddy

Connecting metro stations to Bommasandra is critical as it connects Electronics City. There will be 16 stations in between RV Road and Electronic City. BMRCL have already notified around 500 properties there that we will require to set up the metro. BMRCL is waiting for the approval from the state government for an elevated structure at the junction ( intersection point near Jayadeva Hospital)

According to sources, 16 metro stations, which include ones at BTM Layout, Silk Board, HSR Layout, Oxford College, Electronics City and Bommasandra.

BRMCL needs to acquire about 60 properties to extend the metro in West Bengaluru up to BIEC

Yes, BMRCL is going to widen the road between the RV Road metro station and Bommasandra - a distance of 18 kilometres. They are even planning to widen the road between Hesarghatta and Bangalore International Exhibition Centre on Tumakuru Road- a distance of 3 kms. They will spend around Rs 106 crore for the work which will include footpath construction, closure of drainage and other such.
