My husband and I were not finding any property in any Indian states so we attempted to move to Mauritius which, we heard, had a strong Hindu community. There you can find ready to move in homes at quite affordable prices.

According to sources, the main challenge in the present real estate market is lack of consumer confidence in builders/developers to deliver the projects on time, for which there has been difference in price between ready to move in and under construction properties in the secondary/resale real estate market.
