Now developer is saying that they are gong to issue a press release and advertisements across media to reconfirm that the projects are being developed by Maple Group 'only' and the benefits of CLSS scheme can be availed directly from financial institutions by eligible beneficiaries.

Eyebrows were raised when Bapat participated in a talk show of a television news channel in which Sachin had participated late on Tuesday night. A police team rushed to the office of the news channel in Shivajinagar to arrest Sachin, but he managed to run away.

Yes, they try to cheat the innocent buyers but ''alls well that end well''. An EOW team had initiated an inquiry into the matter much before the case was filed with the Shivajinagar police station. The EOW will investigate what was his motive behind issuing such a misleading advertisement bearing photographs of Fadnavis and Bapat. Second, how he would have provided houses at such a cheap rate Rs 5 lakh for an apartment.

And they are also planning to verify the claims of the builder with the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority that the project was partially funded by the government to provide houses to the poor.

What a shameful act it was...really whom to believe or whom to not. They apologized and expressed sincere and deepest apologies to the honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji, chief minister Shri Devendra Fadnavisji and guardian minister of Pune Shri Girish Bapatji and applicants for any harm/inconvenience caused to them due to the wrong perception caused by the advertisement and if there are some unintentional mistakes they are willing to take necessary corrective action.

This news has become a burning topic In India today. Day before yesterday, Pune police collected details of bank accounts of Maple Shelters and issued a notice to the developer to appear before it to record his statement. Developer has accepted that he collected forms from about 20000 people. Police found Rs. 6 lakh in one of his account and Rs.2 crore in another. They are studying the account now....

Yes, and the developer was issued notice for allegedly publishing a misleading advertisement, inviting applications from prospective buyers for an ultra low cost housing scheme. The advertisement carried the photographs of district guardian minister Girish Bapat and chief minister Devendra Fadnavis.

The Union and state governments have already clarified that the Maple Shelters projects in Pune had no sanction or endorsement under the Pradhanmantri Avas Yojana (PMAY).

Now, the Maple Group clarified in an email to the media that it had begun refunding money to applicants on producing the receipt of payment of application fee with ID proof at the head office of the developer.
