Can a flat bought in Mumbai with power of attorney, in 1991, be registered now in absence of other party?
Q: The transfer of shares of the cooperative housing society and registration of flat need to be done in wife's name since the original purchaser is now dead.
You have to proof that the power of attorney belongs to the deceased person or dead person. For that you have to get the death certificate along with the power of attorney in front of the registrar to get the registration process.
