A few of the legal documents that you require for purchase or sale of property are given below. 1) Title deed or Sales deed, 2) Encumbrance certificate, 3) Khata, 4) Building Plan, 5) NOC from the concerned departments such as NOC from fire-fighting department, environmental department, and Airport Authority, 6) Last tax paid receipt, 7) check for banks approval etc

The first and most important thing to keep in mind before buying a property is to verify the property documents. These are - 1) Title Deed, 2) Sanctioned Building Plan, 3)Occupancy Certificate, 4)Last tax paid receipt, 5) Encumbrance Certificate, 6) Khata or Mutation Documents etc.
