Q:Sir, I have a question regarding POSSESSION of 2-BHK Flat in delhi. The sale deed of the flat dated May 1997 with the owner is in favour of my Grandmother. Howver the POA dated Jan 1998 from the owner is in My Name (RAHUL). The society office is not giving me NOC for converting the flat to freehold as they object that on Jan 1998 the owner had already sold the flat to my grandmother so he was not authorised to give POA in my name. My grandmother is no more and my FAther is the only child and I am his only son. Kindly help me so that I can convert the flat to freehold.
