Q:What is rate of stamp duty on the giftdeed to be executed by father to daughter on the residential property situated in Kurukshetra(Haryana). Father has already executed the Will but not got registered.To avoid any future legal problem might face by his daughter,he want to execute giftdeed.Pl.also let me know the circle rate on which stamp papers to be purchased and who will bear the cost of papers.
Latest Answer: Gift deed must be stamped and registered at the registar office. There is difference in stamp duty rate in Haryana state. For Gift Deed-- 5% and Sale Deed-- 7%
