Latest Answer: Hunsur road and Outer ring road are the 2 major roads in the area connecting this locality to places in and around Mysore. I think it has very good potential and is already one of the best residential hubs of mysore.

Latest Answer: Chinmaya Vidyala is a very good school located only about 3 to 5 km from Vijaynagar. There will definitely be lot of schools here because of the MUDA sports ground and football park in the locality

I am an avid traveller and have scouted most of Mysore. You could check out Amba Vilas Palace, St. Philomena's Church, Tipu Sultan Palace, Mudukuthore Mallikarjunaswamy temple, The Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens, also called the Mysore Zoo and the Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary. These are the major tourist spots in Mysore that your family and you will surely love.

I have been going to Cauvery Dental Care for quite some time now and do not have any complaints. While there aren’t many specific dental clinics apart from these two, there are many hospitals in and around Vijayanagar.

Because of the large scale developments on the ORR, there have been price appreciations in Vijayanagar extension as well. A 240 yard land in Vijayanagar extn that used to cost Rs 1.5 lakh 5 years ago, now fetches close to 5 lakh rs on the market. Even agricultural land is 10 times more expensive in this area.
