For the Reach 3B line from Peenya Industrial Estate to Nagasandra, commuters will have to wait some more time may be till March 2014 for it to be completed. :(
According to sources, even though some of the work on Reach 4 line will be completed by March, the entire Reach 4, which will have two underground lines, will only be completed by the end of 2014, which also includes the ongoing work at the Majestic station. The whole Reach 4 line will be authorised once work on Majestic station is complete.
Good news for the commuters who travel everyday between Peenya and Yeshwantpur. :) :) The BMRCL is all set to start the new Metro line by the end of November. :D :D
But I heard that the clearance by the CRS (Commission of Railway Safety) which will conduct oscillatory tests which is not yet done and without which the metro line cannot open for public.
Namma Metro is still waiting for two more technical clearances at the Peenya depot. Without the clearance BMRCL cannot begin the trails between Peenya depot and Sampige road stations.
The Peenya-Sampige Road line was slated to begin operations in mid-2013, but a host of issues delayed the work. This was supposed to be the second stretch of Namma Metro to become functional.
