Q: I had booked a flat at casa rio viva (d) in 2010 and project kicked off 0n 2011, as per their commitments it was going to be positioned in 2012, which never happened and moreover they dont entertain people to see their building, very sluggish answers from represntatives. now they had given me a new date of May 14, and i know again they are going to shift. above all we are suffering from other burdens.
Hi Ankur, You can not blame a builder every time. If he is not getting the approval then how can they start the work. May be your builder is facing the same problem. Nobody want to lose their reputation.
You might have heard Suraj Parmar's death, a prominent builder in Thane who ended his life due to the repeated demands for bribes by the several government departments. This case is very clear that there was no financial issue in this case. There is an issue in the way the system works.
Right Abhi, The main reason is the approval process that has become indescribable lengthy, tedious, unpredictable and depends on the whims of individual officers. Getting approvals has become a major problem for builders and has increased the interest cost not just of the builders but also of consumers.
Because of that Maharashtra Govt. has to take few necessary steps against the approval process. You might aware of that.

Before you finalize any project, it is advisable to check few essential points. These are 1) Ground report, 2) In good company, 3) Quality Certificate, 4) Realty ratings and 5) Financial stability.
For all that, you can do a quick internet search by keying the company name in customer forums, blogs, news reports, property sites, etc. It would have a lot of information). It will better if you do field research.

Hi Puneet, Finally, got fit-out possession for my Casa Rio flat in Mediterreanea-E, 3 weeks ago. After nearly 2 yrs of waiting and delay. It was promised for Aug 2013, but anyhow got now in June 2015.

My one close relative also want to buy one, but after seeing this response of builder he quits his decision. Why builder doesn't understand of customer problems... hello zulfi, i am also in same position, booked on jan 2011, and possesion date was dec 2012 at the time of booking, then jun 2013 in the registration then shifted to apr 2014, then shifted to jun 2014 then shifted to oct 2014 and again now shifted to nov 2014.... and i m definitely sure the next date will be apr 2015. ... and all the money is been paid within jun 2011 to dec 2011, I m paying interest to bank and builder is not allowing to see the project..... what should i do? I dont have money for the lawyers for any legal action.. ... sachin
