Meeting at Savera on 21/3/10

Q: Ladies and gentlemen,
Let me introduce myself as Mrs. A. Samshath Mohideen. My husband Mr. M. S. Mohamed Mohideen has invested Rs.11 lacs.
I attended the meeting held at Hotel Savera. It was a good opportunity for the owners to have come together at a common place. In my opinion, we have not utilized this opportunity to our benefit. What do we want? At this juncture, after waiting for more than a year, when there is not a single activity going on in the site, all we should have demanded was to return our money in full. As someone suggested, we should have asked the owners or directors of the company to come for a meeting next week and take an undertaking in writing that they will return the money on such and such a date. Now the matter has gone to the police. We know the judicial system in our country. To get justice one has to wait for decades or he/she may not get justice at all.
Now, what I suggest is, we should convene a meeting with the owners of the company. Ask th

I have been requesting for a refund of money from Alliance. They made me sign a cancellation agreement and presented post-dated cheques for the amount. However, all the cheques are bouncing and Kamala is not lifting the phone at all.. Alliance builders is someone I would keep away from at any cost!!

I heard that Alliance has got all the approvals as of Aug, 2010. So members who have previously booked with Orchid Springs, how do you feel about this? Did the builders communicate with you regarding approvals or refund? Will you recommend any newbies to invest in Orchid springs? Looks like this is cheaper than Metrozone (Jawaharlal nehru road, thirumangalam) and affordable compared to anna nagar.

Hi, any info about the CMDA approval, aafter the GO order, last time I called they were talking about new floor plans etc. and forcing us to accept the new floor plans at increased market prices, any updates in this regard will be appreciated.

I was interested in this project and was enquiring about this project, where i got to see all these updates from all. Thanks to all the people who have shared their views.
Today 23rd June 2010, I spoke to Mr. Kingston and enquired with him about these approval issues. He said they have got the GO a couple of days before and are waiting for approval. Which they will get in a week's time.

Is this information true? Kindly share your views.

I recently heard that CMDA panel has approved recently and papers moved to Government for GO. After GO is in place, Alliance will inform customers formally. Is this news genuine? Does anybody have update on this?

all these talks are waste...they keep promising to refund which they never do, prelaunch investor completely dissatisfied of their attitude, met the cmd and other finance guy too with my wife for refund they dont care for any threats and warnings..they are like goondas, not fit to run a company..better take your money back

I went to alliance office chennai and gave letter for withdrawal. They asked for xerox copies of the receipts and gave me a letter stating that the money will be returned in full within 60 days of my letter. I think they do this for everybody - Babu

Unfortunately gate crashing is not going to yield any result,
1. One set of people are awaiting the CMDA approval before demanding the refund
2. The other set of people are fed up with the lies by Alliance group and do not wish to continue. They have demanded for the payment for which they have also received a date for the refund
So which group do you belong to? Either way we have no option other than waiting till the time given by alliance group. In the meanwhile, I strongly advise you to take legal advice on how to proceed in the eventuality of a default . Seeking the CONSUMER ACTION GROUP (CAG). They provide good advice . www.cag.org.in/

Instead of mailing i request all the owners to post ideas for future action here in this forum so that we all have access to it.
Now coming to the main point, the mail from alliance orchid CMDA department looks authentic. Also as Mr.Saravanan told we can check directly with the CMDA to find the status.
If we get the information from CMDA that the approval is in process then as suggested before we can have a meeting with the company officials to get a letter from them stating that final date for approval would be June end and if they fail they will return back the full money.
If anyone have a better suggestion please everybody know.

I give below the response recd from the HO in Bangalore.

'Dear Mrs.Samshath,

Thanks for your mail. The untoward incidence happened from several persons who were antisocial elements. They are trouble mongers and anywhere you find them. They are not our clients at all. They were bought by local goondas to create problems.

We have submitted all the plans to CMDA and given you the submission number too from our team. We are at the last but one stage for the approvals. Please be rest assured, the entire stretch of 20acres is ours (Single ownership) and we have invested crores together and have bought this particular land.

The only delay is towards getting the approvals. It was not intentional, there were many reasons for the delay and CMDA has lengthy procedures that need to be followed up.
