Escalation Charges

Q: C.Park ii Builders are planning to charge Rs. 400 per square foot as the construction cost escalation charges , which is totally illegal as they have delayed the project by over 2 years. Any owners wishing to go to court may contact me. There is a recent case in which a court has given damages to owners of apartments for delay in construction of an Ansals project in Gurgaon.

I've heard the charge is going to be Rs. 300 but not pay the penalty for delay. Do let me know how you proceed on this
