Q: Hi, I am planning to buy a flat at Indrasadan, Marathahalli. As I was checking with the builder, I came to know that this apartment does not have a Occupancy Certificate. So can anybody, who already own a flat in Indrasadan, tell me if that is not an issue and if you were able to pay the taxes in your name(individual owners who own a flat here). Kindly let me know so that I can make my decision to buy the flat. Any other details about the apartment will be appreciated. Thank you.
it is an offence for a person to occupy the building unless the occupancy permit has been issued. Therefore, it is the owner's responsibility to ensure that the occupancy permit has been issued.
Hi Bhavani. I am an owner of a flat and have been staying in Indra Sadan since 2+ years now. We do not see the need for the occupancy certificate, since we are able to pay taxes. We also have the Khata & Registration on our name. We can also transfer the Electricity connection to your name if required. We also have BSNL phone & broadband connectivity available easily for people coming new to the apartment. The builder is also a very good person to deal with. Feel free to call me @ 94486 72419 in case you need any further help or assistance.
Hi Anoop , Can anyone buy property without occupancy certificate & katta. I heard that we need accupancy certificate for khata. Can you provide more information on this? Thanks in advance
