Planning to buy the house

Q: Dear All,

I am planning to buy an apartment in Casa rio. The deal and the presentation by the executives looks very good. But have a doubt on certain issues like the area is low lying and was completely submerged during 2005 rains. Moreover the drinking water supply is also an issue. Whether the builder will be able to give the house by the end of 2013.

Hi Amit,
So have you purchased an apartment in Casa Rio? I am also planning but have same doubts. What price they offered you?

There is always a doubt in any real estate deal in India.Unfortunately we dont have transparent system in real estate markets.So you need to take your own call in taking the decision.
1. As far as Area submerged in 2005 is concerned most of the Mumbai and adjoining area also submerged, still the rate is skyrocketing there and I believe 2005 incident was rare .
2. The drinking water will by supplied by KDMC for limited duration every day but day to day water supply will abundant as far as I have been told.
3.On paper they are commiting to complete the project by 2012 but I believe It may take 1-2 years more.
