Suggestion required.

Q: Hi, I have an apartment which is built on SC/ST land(the SC/ST people are claiming that). There are many apartments near my area with the SC/ST written on apartment's wall. We own this apartment from 6 years. Suddenly they have written on all walls "SC/ST..". It seems SC/ST person has sold big land to people who are builders and they have constructed apartments and sold them. Banks have stopped giving loan to buy/sell this property. Please suggest what can be the solution to this problem. Even the apartments which started construction within this area, has stopped construction due to court orders.

Yes you are correct Manju about the guarantee part. And why are the residents supposed to pay because of the builders' fault? As the builders knew about it from before, let them deal with it. All you residents make a group and speak with the builder about this.

Thanks Rakesh, It is near Kundanhalli Gate Marthahalli. They are asking for some money, and builders are asking money from us,per flat 30,000 rs. But what is the guarantee that they won't come back and won't trouble us again. It seems, builders new about this before selling us flats.

Hi Manju, which area are you talking about? This case sounds similar to the Noida story where farmer were asking for the compensation on their land. Make a group and speak with your builder and other management. Check what are the demands of the SC/ST people. If they are claiming anything then the builders have to compensate. Take legal help if possible .
