Q: As per earlier version from Merlin Trinoyoni, expected delivery date was Dec 2011. Now, they say that they can't hand over before April 2012. What is the exact reason?
We have received the response from the Merlin authority for the above mentioned issues. I would request all of you to fix a time and sit together to discuss on the next step for giving them the response of the said letter.

You must sign the POA for formation of Association of apportionment of Tax in the record of KMC on or before
taking the final possession and not at the time of registration.
1. As because many flat owners would be doing the registration later on.
2. Possession will be handed over at the end of September'2012 and not in the 1st week of September'2012 as
mentioned by you.
3. Maximum capacity of load against individual meter has been mentioned in your MASD bills.

hi all we had visited merlin office yesterday and submitted the MASD bill for electricity we found that the quota of our load which was sanctioned rather demanded by merlin on our behalf is just 1.5kw or 1500 watt which is even below a normal requirement in flats
We 15 apartment owners meet with Merlin authorities and based on our discussion they have agreed to the following: Issues #1: We wanted to know the exact reason for signing on the documents for power of attorney to form an association for Merlin Trinoyoni. We have raised the issue and expressed our willingness to sign such documents AFTER the actual possession of our respective flats after registration. Merlin's Commitment: Based on our argument, Merlin Authority confirmed us that the signing on documets for formation of association was NOT MANDATORY at this point.They agreed to take the initiative after giving us the physical possession of the flats.
Issues #2 : We have brought the matter for exact date of posseesion of our flats which was long pending due to some unknown reason. This is the high time to raise the issue and get an exact date to get the possession of the same. Merlin's Commitment: We had a discussion with the project manager Mr Ganan Sanghvi and he confirmed the date of possession from the Merlin side will be September 1st week 2012 WITHOUT ANY FURTHER DELAY.
Issue #3: Per MASD bill it is just 1.5kw or 1500 watt which is even below a normal requirement in flats. We have raised the matter to the Mr Gagan Sangvi and request him to provide us the maximum permissible load for our respective connection within the same amount. Merlin's Commitment: They confirmed that they will look into the matter & confirm.

Any body booked Covered car parking...I haven't booked parking at the time of booking of flat...can any body tell me what should be service tax applicable?
for covered parking 2.75 L n service tax @ @12.36.. later I talked with authorities n dey said ST will be @3.09, if it is merged with flat...I am unblae to understand..what actually is the "Merged" concept is?
Hi to all, this is my first post to all of you, so a very good evening to all of you. We are united under the same umbrella by our Dream Home Project of Merlin Trinoyoni. But unfortunately our dream has become a nightmare as we don't know when the dream will come to reality. Handover date - Dec 2011 then April 2012 then June 2012 and now Probable date has become End of August 2012. But my sixth sense says they are giving us Untrue commitments. Its a request to all of you to plz come together physically and move together to their management and asking the same. Its our hard earned money which we have invested, so plz inform who so ever you know as a property owner of Merlin Trinoyoni to meet at a common forum and discuss our individual aspects regarding this situation.

final possesion in june still remains a doubt as most of the final works still remain pending beyond imagination. Have you visited the site recently carry a check list and check out the progress. Most of the people who have booked a flat there and still compelled to live on rent somewhere are getting annoyed due to constant deffering of possesion dates such that they cannot even declare by which month they can give up tenancy
agreeing to the fact that electricity is a problem and that now the transformer has been set up by thr CESC and electric board of west bengal caring out the connection to flats the issue of water , approach road, drainage, power backup is still unresolved. Although the responsibility of working them out totally depends on labours of merlin itself but the actual picture of site very well points out the reluctance to complete the works having bagged the amount of money from the owners for the purpose. The utilisation for the E.D.C. Amount paid by the flat owners is still mistory.
I recently visited the site..the central park they were putting the bricks,Electricity and water supply yet to be done... however they told us that they will be fisinhing it by july end... and hand over in August... However the official communicatin says that it will be ready by Aud end..
although a few days back we visited merlin office and had talks with project manager and other officials they promised us verbally that final possesion shall start from june 2012 and will speed up works so that their work be completed by may 2012 but till date a very little progress they have made in respect to approach road water supply electricity and drainage system we fear that they might extend beyond june 2012 when i booked a flat there i was told the possesion would be by dec 2010 there are also people who were promised flats at merlin trinoyoni way back in dec 2009 and still today they are wandering by though have paid their share of cost of flats
I am totally agree with Mr Samiran. Merlin was told me at the time of booking (June 2010) that the said project will be completed by Dec 2010. After a long long delay they are still struglling to complete the project. also there are certain other issues that they are not fulfilling , like the exterior colour, maintainence cost etc. I would request to form a group and raise our voice to the appropriate authority.You can mail me sudipto_rakshit@yahoo.com or call @9830323806. it might be that government sanctions are late but still on the part of merlin their progress of work is very slow such that the road remains incomplete and no installation of electric transformer even and no supply of water even to flats
Oct 2012 is new to me. But, after getting 90% of payment reason of manipulating handing over date is still not clear. If govt. owned project has such situation, then what are the conditions of other project which were controlled by Merlin directly?
