The Bellandur is the only lake in and around Bangalore surroundings which is polluted much and the development work is also pending

The lake is polluted in a large scale its leading to health hazards for the people staying in the apartments at Sarjapur road and major harm to the environment in Bangalore.

The Bellandur Lake at Sarjapur road in Bangalore is under BBMP's jurisdiction and they have called for a clearance of lake. However, the work is till date kept pending.
