I have purchased 1000 sq yard kot farm plot almost 6 yrs ago and I am still waiting for possession. Could someone pls advise as to what is happening and what is the current status.

We had purchased a 1000 sq yard property from Ocean Seven Buildtech known as Kot Farm in 2007 and till date we have not received possession of it. We have visited the site many times and it remains undeveloped till date. We have contacted the builder many times and each time they promise possession within 2-3 months time. We had send them a legal notice and now we have filed a case against the builder at the State Consumer forum in Jaipur.

I think it is always a better option to takeout sometime and visit the site to gte the latest updates about the project.

I called them today and they said that it would take another 2-3 months before possession. Thanks for your advice Charles and anwarlaskar36. Would you suggest that I visit the site and check myself before exploring next steps?

With the help of legal expert you can prepare a legal document in which it will be mentioned that if he is unable to give the possession by this year, the builder will pay you back the amount to paid with interest.

Ok, I was asking as I invested 5 years ago in Kot Residency and still no appreciation nor possession. OSB sent out mailers at the start of the year stating that they would give possession in mid of this year but I still don't know whether to believe them or not
