I am planning to invest my hard earned money on Rahatani Pune. I am first time investor in this locality. Kindly provide me some information about this locality. How is the location ? What are the nearby infrastructures ? How is the connectivity ? Is this location developed or developing ?
Hi Wasim, As per my knowledge, Rahatani is a well-planned locality. This location is surrounded by Hedgewar Path, Aundh-Ravet Road, Rahatani Road, and Pawana River, with areas such as Pimple Saudagar, Wakad, Thergaon, and Kalewadi lying in its proximity.
The social infrastructure in and around Rahatani is praiseworthy. Few educational institutions in the vicinity include SNBP International School, Indira Universe Campus, Global Indian International School, and Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Engineering & Technology. Chame Hospital, Healing Touch Hospital, Nalanda Hospital, and Vedant Hospital are health-care centers scattered across the area.
According to me, commercial infrastructures near by this locality are Prim Mall, Big Bazaar, More, Spot 18, Kunal Icon Shopping Complex, and Mega Mart are few malls and stores. Water & electricity is supplied to this sector by Maharashtra Water Supply And Sewerage Board & Pune Electricity Supply Board.
From connectivity point of view, this is a very developed locality and has good connectivity with all important places of the city. Hedgewar Path, Aundh-Ravet Road, Rahatani Road, and Kalewadi-Rahatani Road connects this locality to the locations likes Kalewadi, Aundh, and Ravet.

As per my knowledge, Pune Railway Station lies 15 km from here and provides inter-city travel to regions such as Chennai, Bangalore, and Ahmedabad, among others. From connectivity point of view Mumbai-Pune Highway is having a big impact of this location. There has been a lot of development in the last couple of years with new roads and public facilities such as parks and gardens completed.
In my point of view, in year 2011, the average price of residential property was 3850/sq-ft. After many upas & downs, in year 2013 mid , this price showed some impressive improvement. In year 2014 ,the average price of residential property is 5750/sq-ft.

According to me, this locality is desired by most of the IT professional families in Hinjewadi IT park and others. This is one of the most populous locality and very near to IT Vicinity. Good value location situated in a fast growing suburb, equipped with all high value lifestyle conveniences.
One of the major factors that attributed to Rahatani’s growth was the availability of the vast expanse of land. Several reputed builders such as Kasturi Housing, Pristine Properties, G. K. Developers, and Nisarg Associates grabbed this opportunity and started various projects in this area, causing a real estate flourish in this part of the city.

The locality is going to benefit from the recently constructed Bus Rapid Transit System in Pimpri Chinchwad, which will increase the area’s property value in the years to come. The BRTS is functional between Kalewadi and Pimple Saudagar via Rahatani, and will gradually improve accessibility to and from the area.
