Q: What are the benefits I can avail for paying my property tax? I own a house at Indiranagar and pay my taxes regularly.

Hi Mohan, as Reshma says you will be risk free if you are paying your property tax regularly. And the funds such collected by the government will be used for the maintenance of roads, improving the amenities etc.

It is the duty of every property owner to pay tax laid on his/her property by the government. If the property owner fails to pay the taxes his/her property will be at risk. In such cases, the government will have the right to sell the property and fill the tax dues.
