Q: Need some info on Geown developers, Bangalore. The farmlands they sell seem interesting but how good are the chances that they convert to yellow belt. Are these lands genuine?

Hi Malikarjuna, There are mixed reviews about the builder so I would suggest to visit the project, if you have not visited yet to have a fair idea about the project as well as the construction status and quality.

Hi, I've booked a villa (D type) from Geown Oasis. Till now my dealings with Geown was extremely smooth. I've been going to the site almost every alternate week and the work is progressing quite well. The response was very quick and justifying for all of my queries till now.The area is developing quite quickly and there are a lot of villa projects coming up in the area. I visited the site 2 weeks back, the road widening work was started for the approach road from the sarjapur main road(chemanhalli) to the site which is a positive side for this site. This is upcoming and developing area ,lot of international schools are near by to this site. Easily approachable to white field and outer ring road. Ravi kumar K
I am a soon to be owner of a villa in Geown Oasis. I came to know about this project thru one of my relatives. I visited the project site , I liked the location, floor plans and the concept. I booked the villa - Geown team was prompt in their responses to all our queries. They worked closely with me in customizing the floor plans (though they were very strict in not allowing any external/elevation changes). They also helped me in getting thru the loan from SBI. I thought it was sales/sweet talk, but they followed up with very good customer service. The sales, management and the staff are wonderful. In spite of being remote, the entire home buying experience was fantastic. Their time/delivery estimates are quite accurate, the quality control of the construction is great; The bath fitting, WC are stylish. They have made very good progress I would recommend Geown Oasis project for anyone who is serious on buying quality villa. I will give 5 star for Geown properties & Oasis project
Me and my husband, who works in Accenture, have booked a C Type Villa in Geown Oasis. I have found the specifications and amenities in this project really good. The interactions with the Geown personnel has been great - they have been very open and upfront from all transactions perspective. Moreover, the quality and speed of work has been excellent - the delivery of the project looks to be right on course and better than most of the so-called big builders out there. Lastly, the documentation and paperwork are all legit and vetted by leading banks. All in all I would say it has been a wise decision for me to invest in this property - quality villas at reasonable price.
Hello! I recently bought one of the villa in the society, 113 to be precise. A very smooth experience so far. I guess this was the first builder which talked data rather beating around the bush. They were more than willing to facilitate any change that I recommend for my house. Getting loan from SBI was easy. Best part about the sales team spearheaded by Mr. kamal was extremely helpful in finding me my perfect villa since I'm the owner of two dogs with extra land as additional lawn. All in all I can't wait to stop paying rent and move in at the earliest

After lot of research I zeroed in on Geown Oasis to buy my villa. The whole experience has been amazing. Special Kudos for the support & guidance provided by Mr.Kamal Kannan the AGM sales for Geown, the constuction & quality is really good. I've bee visiting the site regularly & everytime I see it there is a lot of progress. Connectivity is really good. Great job Geown....
@Rajnish, There are only 4 bhk villas available for sale in this project and the price of the villas ranges from Rs 1.04 crores to Rs 1.28 crores approximately. The project is located at Sarjapur Road and I feel it is a good idea to buy a property here as it is going to fetch good returns in terms of investment purpose and good locality for end use also as all the basic amenities are near by only.

The project has got approval from BMRDA and banks like HDFC, LIC HFL, ICICI, PNB. The project is spread over 15 acres of land and will have 180 plus of villas

Guys, Stay away with this company none of their projects are legal. You don't get a single rupee loan, you can check with any banks if you want. Last post from "Prashant, Geown Developers, Bangalore" itself is fake.. he left Geown long back and started another fake company. Don't invest and get fooled by them. These guys are smart and unprofessional. I saw one customer adarsh desai posted the real review and they managed to remove that from the entire review link. They dont have any proven record on successful completion. Based on what I found from some of my connections who invested in their ventures is that all their projects are either ongoing or pre-launch for more than 5 years. Never complete any project on-time or stick to what they promise. There are bunch of other projects with reputed developers. Dont spend your time and money in these not worth it.
sirs - am looking to buy a plot in Geown Lawnsway - kindly advice if this is good to buy and if there are still the issues of green to yellow zone - I further understand that on plantation land, you can build only 30% of the plot size - does eKHATA allow construction as per normal building bye laws (that is 1.75 times the plot size) -

Hi Naveen, Geowns Homestead and Lawnsway are farmland projects. I think there are plots still available for sale in these projects as the projects are still under construction.
You can visit to your nearest bank and check if they are providing home loan for this project or not. Even you can talk with the builder and ask them to help you in taking home loan for this project.
Hi Srikanth, for the time being properties are not available for sale in Lawnsway but there are only two farmland available (5800 and 6100 sqft) in Homestead and the rate per sqft is Rs 700.

I have invested in Geown Lawnsway. I reviewed the papers with our lawyer before the investment. As per our lawyer, the land has very good title. It’s a plantation land and this has the necessary approvals as per our lawyer. The location is very good and I believe this land holds good potential in the future. There is high probability that this land will come to Yellow Zone in future Govt. plans due to the expansion of bangalore city. Worst case, we will have a big farm within the city limits in next few years. Hope this helps.

You have to confirm on all legal points before buying land if you are planning on it. Better to check with BDA if the lands available there are under yellow belt or not..
According to Karnataka land law, if you buy an agricultural land then you have to use it for agriculture only. Then do Geown dev' sell land for construction purpose or farming purpose?
