Q: I am staying in apartments comprising of 65 units constituting 24 no. of 3BHKs and 41 no. of 2BHKs. But the collection of maintenance charges is on flat rate i.e. 1600/- per any type of flat, but contingency fund being collected is on per square feet basis. I wanted to know what should be the general practice and approved practice, for collection of general maintenance charges and contingency fund if required for improvement of society?
