I am a resident of Kamanahalli and the roads in this area are in worse condition and need to be repaired on high priority. The government should certainly think about providing the citizens of Bangalore with better amenities – especially in terms of the roads. A BBMP officials said that they have already started with the repair work to some of the major roads in the city, and the work will soon extent to other roads of the city as well.
The roads which are in terrible condition include Victoria Road, near Richmond Circle, streets in the first phase of JP Nagar and the entire stretch of Hosur Road. Since they are ridden with potholes, accidents are alarmingly common in these areas. There are some roads which are getting a fresh coat of tar, many still lie unnoticed. 80 Feet Peripheral Road, from Vivek Nagar to the National Games Village, which is one of the busiest stretches during peak hours, as well as one of the worst maintained.
The roads in front of RBANMS Ground in Ulsoor are broken and have huge potholes. The tar coating have worn off and huge patches of the road are broken. Roads in Devinagar, next to the Hebbal Big Bazaar are in the same condition. Residents frequently complain of uneven tarring, bumps and potholes but till now no action has been taken.
It is not only Bangaloreans who complaint about this problem but also the visitors and tourists from other cities and countries are equally critical about the issue. Commuters who travel on two-wheelers are mainly facing problem because of the potholes. The roads are pathetic near Hosmat Hospital. The road condition have become terrible as one reaches the signal that leads to lower Agram Road.
the Bangalore roads are full of potholes and it seems that in spite of constant complaints and criticism regarding the road condition, concerned authorities have no taken any action against this.
