Red Zone and Un-authorized construction drama and aam admi (Common Man)
Q: Few day back we got news that Dehu-Road area (Pune, Maharashtra) was declared under red zone. Lot of discussion is going on in media and on net what will happen next.
If builder had constructed flat by sanctioning the plan with Collector N.A Land in such cases what will happen about those flats.
Many people had purchased land in this area to construct there own home, 6 month back PCMC had stopped all un-authorized construction so many peoples started to get plan sanction for 1 gunta ..... n gunta plot. Now this area had declared under red zone. Many peoples had purchased those 1gunta plot for 10-12lac on goverment argreement value is 2 -3 lac. Now what they have to do ? they had lost there whole life money in purchasing the plot now they don't able to build there own home also. What they will expect from goverment/pcmc/cantoment/ ?
This government should give poision to common people before declaring red zone in dehuroad area people of this area are lost every thing,which they accumulate in thier whole life,they construct their gunta home with their bank loan, panth-santha bank loan,personal borrowing, where they can go now,and the
1) government & authorities are sleeping when their is development is going from 10-12 years. 2) why did the guntewari & NA permission had been sanction. 3) why did authorizes water connection & light (power) connection has been given. 4) why did pcmc taking authorized tax from 10-13 years
Thanks all for u r comment. As per it's right time to Use the power of "Right To Know ?" Power. Based on our knowledge information we can have rights to get the answer of this question from PCMC and Cantonment for that ther is simple process. We just need to fill up the Right of Information act from and submit to right autority. In form we can able ask question which we have.

hi Shahikant , I stay in Vikasnagar and All of my father's Blood money is invested in land .. What is the exact meaning of red zone ? it was kept till the mumbai -pune highway but it seems that it is increased.. have no idea about it .
What the act says Under the Works of Defence Act, 1903, the land falling within a distance of 2,000 yards from the outer perimeter of the depot should be kept free from buildings and other constructions. No construction work other than defence-related be permitted within the notified area. However, residential construction took place in this ‘banned’ area. As a precautionary measure, the planning authority stopped providing building permission and transfer of land in these sectors.
I would suggest check all the papers before you invest in any such projects as there might be problem afterwards.. PCMC may raze down such buildings saying they are illegal.. Also, check with registrar's office if your plot or building is out of danger or not..
Actually i had confirmed that my plot and flat both are in red zone now.
But at the time of purchasing flat i had did the inquiry and sbi legal authority mean advocate also investigated builders paper the flat building plan is sacnction and has collector N.A so in such cases how should we say that those properties are illegal.
Now today government is awake and declared those area as red zone area.
The Defence area was formed in 20 year back. Now they had finalized the demarcation area why this is ?
Hi.. Is it true?? I had invested in a project in this area few years back.. I stay outside India and wanted to build a house for future when I come back.. I had no idea about all these happenings.. Is it soo bad??
