Leakage issues in Konark Indrayu Enclave 2 apartments.
Q: Are there internal water leakage problems in most flats? Damp spots are noticed in living room & bedroom having attached toilet. The Real Estate Agent said that repairs will be undertaken by the builder. I will appreciate an honest feedback from owners since I am a prospective first time buyer. Thanking you in advance.
Hi We are also facing the same issue. Water s seeping in our bedroom ceiling from the top floor bathroom. Upon first inspection a leaking tap was found , which was in that state for almost a month, gradually causing place for water to seep. We requested the concerned owner to get his bathroom repaired and we would get our ceiling n wall damage(waterproofing) repaired. But he wants us to bear 50 % of the bathroom leakage and seepage expenses, thereto we bear 50% bathroom and 100 % of our ceiling + wall damage repair charges. We strongly feel its completely unfair. Ours is an Apartment not a co-operative society...please advise !
Usually flat society will have their own norms regarding the same.. You can contact them by joining the owners group on this website.. Click on Post your Requirements and go to the right hand side tab of Owners group in the page. Upon sending request with contact info, admin will approve it.. Once approved, you can discuss about the problems faced by the residents and owners..
leakage in flat from top flat you have to tell ur status in the property. if tenant then u have right to ask the landlord for repairs. u can get it done and ask money.
Hi, as per my knowledge, the leakage problem should be taken care by the owner of the flat above or the builder. However, there might come a point where the owner or builder not pay any deeds. Then, you can speak to your builder or owner from whom you had transactions of your flat. Hope your problem gets solved asap! Good luck.
