Hi,
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said in his budget 2014-2015 speech that FTII Pune and SRFTI Kolkata, the two premium film institutes in the country, would be symbolize the status of institutes of national importance.

@Promit,
It is really a good news for residents of West Bengal and Pune that SRFTI is being considered important on a national scale. It will open up new avenues for education in the cinema and television. They have two or three projects like this but this status will provide a boost to further partnerships globally.

@ Subho,
But Still West Bengal Supremo, Mamta Banerjee (TMC) was not impressed by this first budget of the Modi govt. The Trinamool Congress chief slammed the Union Budget 2014-15, saying the Modi-led government has become a government of the FDI, by the FDI and for the FDI. She later said that the distribution of "a meagre" Rs.100 crore for "Beti bachao, beti padhao" programme is a "mockery".

Hi Joesph...you have no other option than apartment in EM bypass...if budget is not a problem for you then apartments near park street connector would cost you around 3 crore... near ruby crossing it would be around Rs 1.20 crore and near Ultadanga and in Manicktala crossing the price of apartments range between Rs 1 - 1.5 crore.
