Flat not ready for occupation at Southcity

Q: Hi Authorities,

Please note that we have recieved the offer of possession, however the property is incomplete yet even after a delay of five months. I urge the Southcity Builder to provide us a date of completion and assurance that we will not be handed over a grossly incomplete authority. Even if the apartment is complete, it seems that there will be a delay in the construction of common areas and property will be in no practical shape to move in.

If there are more people online, who have also invested in here, please join me.

I have a 4 BHK flat at South city which was supposed to deliver me bye dec 2012 .receantly i received offer letter of possession however all electricity work , wooden work even Doors, modular kitchen works ,paints etc not started yet. surprisingly lift fitting work has not started since i received offer letter of TOP Floor of 13 floor building....really dont know they r joking or what ???

Hi all,
If you all are facing the same situation then form a association and meet the developer first. A developer liable to refund the money obtained from a customer with interest if he is unable to justify non-completion or delaying possession of his project. You can file a case in the consumer disputes redressal commissions at the district, state and national levels.

waiting for possession since june last year. and they harrass me by repeatedly calling me and threatening me to pay the last installment even though flat is still not ready

Hello PeopleHello members

I have a 4bhk flat at southcity. Pls share your experiences on possesion of flat. Already there has been a delay of more than a year and still the construction work is going too slow.

Even the lifts are not fitted till date. And there is not one person who is taking the responsibilty. They are not ready to give contact details of higher authorities.

Kindly share your views on same.

You have rights to get a compensation from the builder. You have the legal authorities to take action again builder.

Hey Archana.. gathering from above .. i would suggest you to join the owners group of the same. Here you will be able to find/approach and discuss with other owners/residents of the same project. Hi, have you tried contacting any other owners? I would suggest you to do just so and form an association. That way together you can take action against the builder.

hello Archana. I'm also looking to invest in SBP's North Valley Properties in Mohali. But after reading your post I'm understandable very skeptical. Kindly update any news regarding the same. Your efforts would be mightily appreciated.
