Old Flat Vs New Flat

Q: I have a choice between the below:

1) 3BHK - 1580 SQFT good quality 8 years old flat in good location for about 63 lakhs

2) 3 BHK - 1327 SQFT under construction apartment in a good location for about 74 lakhs.

Choosing a old apartment not only saves 11 lakhs but gives me more space. I have to get wood work done for both anyways so that cost difference is negligible. Face lift for old apartment might cost about 2-3 lakhs, but the new one under construction will be available after a year, so i can earn atleast 25k rent per month on the old one in one year!

I am confused! Please advice

Nagesh, The old apartment is in Banashankari 3rd Stage, right opposite KIMS and the new one is near banashankari temple about 20 mtrs from banashankari market. Both are about 3 kms apart.

I would advise you to go with old apartment as it is already ready and the price is also less. You do not know whether the new apartment will get completed by time or not. If it gets delayed then loos is yours
