Before the launch of the skyway in 2010, Sector 37 Faridabad the average residential property price were about Rs.3700 per square feet, which had become to Rs.4500 per square feet and Rs.5750 per square feet in 2011 and 2012, respectively. There has been about 27% increase in property prices since 2011.

The toll rates are very nominal, if it is for a car, single entry is Rs. 20 and return is Rs. 30. For Light Commercial vehicles it is Rs. 30 one way and Rs. 45 for return. For Buses and trucks the toll is charged at Rs. 60 and Rs. 90 respectively.

Very true, Faridabad boasts to be one of the most important industrial hubs of Haryana and is very closely located to the Capital, being part of the NCR. The region also has a number of residential townships and the Skyway, directly connects Faridabad with Delhi with more than 60 thousand vehicles plying every day.

I have experienced this. I work at the Faridabad industrial area and particularly at the Badarpur border near Faridabad, the traffic scene was extremely congested bottleneck, with traffic jams almost every day. With this skyway, planned to cross four main bottlenecks traffic lights at Jaitpur, Sarai Bypass, Mehrauli Badarpur road and Sector 37 of Faridabad I now happily drive through this road.

Hello guys,Just to add to the info, this three-lane expressway has reduced the travelling time from Delhi to Faridabad considerably. It begins at BTPS in Delhi and ends at Sector 37 of Faridabad. There are multiple 15 to 20 lane toll plazas at Faridabad and Delhi which make the entry and exit through the expressway quite fast.

The major reason for constructing this highway was that the NH2 which connects Agra to Delhi via other towns in UP has one of the highest traffic densities in the region with a lot of interstate and local city traffic.

Hi, that is true; it has been there for a while now. This expressway is on the National Highway 2 and connects Delhi to Faridabad with a junction at the Mehrauli-Badarpur road at the border between the states of Delhi and Haryana.

The Delhi-Faridabad Skyway has been operational since 2010. It is a 4.4 km. elevated highway connecting Delhi and Haryana at Badarpur. The development of this highway started way back in 2008 and was contracted to Hindustan Construction Company Limited. It was constructed with a budget of nearly Rs.600 cr.
