Guys i have heard one more thing that the stretch between Tumkur Road and Hosur Road will not be duplicated asper the NICE Corridor project in this area is already under construction.
This means that , the land for the PRR Phase II,will be given back to the farmers which will be a great relief for them and also hundreds of people who had bought sites in private layouts that had come up on the alignment route. which is a better solution !!
See, i think there was plan B also recommended by the authority, that they will come up with 400 houses in Gottigere which will be built under the Ashraya scheme. But if this was to happen then Bannerghatta National Park would have been in danger as the place will cover up that also and raising wildlife concerns forced the authority to drop the plan. There was no other alternative land.
Yes, the cancellation is confirmed... i have read a news which states that the integration of NICE and PRR Phase I roads has give green signal that all the processes related to the second phase would be canceled.
Hi, the news is that Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) is expected to drop the second phase altogether and they are also going to denotify the land.See the proposed 51-km Phase II of the Peripheral Ring Road (PRR) approval is just going to come and then they will decide upon the matter ... that whether they want to continue with the phase 2 or not.
