@Balwinder: E.C.R. stretch between Neelankarai to Uthandi has seen an astounding growth over the past 2 years. Quality living spaces in the form of sea side villas, bungalows, row houses, international schools, colleges, Muthukadu Boat House, horde of restaurants and resorts have come up making it the most happening stretch in South Chennai. Akkarai just about 1.5 km from VGP is the future Boat Club locality of Chennai. It will very good for investment purpose as well.

It is the scenic 2-lane highway from Chennai to Pondichery. Just a few minutes-drives from the bustling Thiruvanmiyur.

Is there any near by schools and colleges ?? What is the price per sq ft quoted for it ?

@Balwinder: ECR is good locality, center of Chennai, easy to commute,peaceful area. We may be relocating to Chennai next year and would like information on neighborhoods that are close to good schools for eg, American International School - but that's not definite, and within walking distance of markets etc. The price per sq ft will be around Rs 300 - 600.

Hey Priya, this project is located in East Coast Road. The plots such as 4400 sq.ft for Rs 14 lakhs and for 12000 sq.ft for Rs. 73.20L.

ECR obviously is the most happening place in Chennai. Whether for the youth or for the elders for recreation or a weekend outing or for a long drive, simple because of it is cozy roads, excellent restaurants and beautiful landscapes and of course free from pollution and population. It is well connected to OMR Road as well.
