Hi Satish, as far as i am aware there is no hard and fast rules and a structure for levying brokerag.. if you have approached a broker with your demands he will charge his brokerage from you... in some cases the landlord employs a broker to sell his property in which case the brokerage will be paid by him...so it depends from case to case. however if you are liable to pay , the broker will initimate you first that he iwll be charching so much either amount or percentage as his brokerage...
